Plato Crater

One of my better lunar shots and one of my favorite lunar features.

To the north (up) is Mare Frigoris.  To the south is Mare Imbrium.  Mons Piton is the mountain lower right that is casting the very long shadow.  Due south of Plato is Mons Pico.  The mountain range to the right of Plato is the western edge of the Montes Alpes.

This crater (technically a walled plain) is visible in moderately powerful binoculars.
