Montes Alpes and Crater Cassini
|
The mountain range in the left of this image is the Montes Alpes or Alpine Mountains with Vallis Alpes (the Alpine Valley) cutting a swath through the middle of the range.
Crater Cassini is the crater with two smaller craters within. These are Cassini A and Cassini B. The large crater with collapsed walls in the lower middle is Aristotles. Up and right of that is Eudoxus.
The mountain range to the right of Cassini is the Montes Caucusus.
