Between the Scorpion and the Teapot

This image shows the heart of our Milky Way Galaxy in the area between Scorpius and Sagittarius. The two bright stars at the bottom right edge are the "stinger" of the scorpion. To the left of that is the west half of the "teapot". There are eleven Messier objects in this image including M7, M6, M28, M8, M20, M21, M24, M23, M18, M17and M16.
