M52, The Scorpion Cluster

 

 

This is M52, the Scorpion Cluster in the constellation Cassiopeia.  This open cluster is about 5,000 light years away and contains several hundred stars in a nice compact grouping.

Exposure Count:  25 frames (4 rejected), 20 x 30 second, 5 x 1 minute
